Declaration on the obligation to inform (data protection declaration)

Camping Berggruss takes the protection of your personal data very seriously We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (DSGVO, TKG 2003), which came into force on 25 May 2018. In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the framework of our website.

Contact us

By sending our contact form or an e-mail, you agree that we may use your data to answer your enquiry or contact you. If you contact us via the contact form or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. This data will not be passed on without your consent.

The data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 para 3 TKG as well as Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for the fulfilment of the contract) of the DSGVO.

Use of data

The personal data you provide (such as name, address and e-mail address) will be used by us as follows:

For the booking of accommodation, the provision of your contact details is mandatory. You only have to fill in the fields marked with an * (name, address and e-mail address, name of travel participants as well as data concerning the day of arrival and departure). Additional information (such as telephone or fax numbers) is not mandatory.

The personal data you provide will only be processed and used by the operator to the extent that it is necessary for processing the enquiry and/or providing the requested service.

We use cookies on our website. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser, but do not cause any damage. We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit. If you do not wish this, you can set your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Web analysis

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. Cookies are used for this purpose, which enable an analysis of the use of the website by your users. The information thus generated is transferred to the provider's server and stored there.

You can prevent this process by setting up your browser so that no cookies are stored. We have concluded a corresponding contract with the provider for commissioned data processing. Your IP address is recorded but immediately pseudonymised (e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits). This means that only a rough localisation is possible.

The data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 para 3 TKG as well as Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the DSGVO. Our concern in terms of the DSGVO (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our website. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is pseudonymised.

The user data is stored for a period of 6 months.

Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API to visually display geographical information. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data on the use of the Maps functions by visitors to the websites. Further information on data processing by Google can be found in Google's privacy policy: www.google.com/privacypolicy.html. There you can also change your settings in the data protection centre so that you can manage and protect your data.

Social media plugins

Plugins of the social network Facebook are integrated on our website. You can recognise these plugins by the respective logos at the bottom of the respective page. Each time you visit the websites, a direct connection is established between the visitor's browser and the server of the social media platform operator. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by the operators of the network platforms. For further information, please refer to the privacy policy of the respective social media platform: Facebook: de-de.facebook.com

With regard to the GDPR, you are generally entitled to the rights of information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in some way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
