Our Campsite Rules
Welcome to Camping Berggruss in Berg im Drautal!
Dear guests,
We are delighted that you have chosen our campsite and wish you a relaxing holiday. The team at Camping Berggruss will make every effort to make your holiday as Pleasant as possible. To ensure that your stay is pleasant and relaxing, we ask you to observe the following rules:
1. Arrival
Access to the campsite is only permitted after registration at reception. We require your ID for registration (legal obligation to register). The personal data collected during registration will be processed exclusively in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations (in particular the GDPR) and will not be shared with third parties unless there is a legal obligation to do so. This also applies to short-term visitors. Young people under the age of 18 travelling alone may only camp when accompanied by an adult. Pitches are allocated in consultation with the site management; unauthorized changes of pitch are not permitted. By registering, the camper confirms compliance with these campsite regulations.
2. Vehicles
Cars and motorbikes must be parked next to the tent or caravan in such a way that they do not obstruct traffic or neighbors. Only one car is permitted per pitch. Additional cars can be parked after consultation with the reception. In general, a speed limit of 10 km/h applies throughout the campsite. Pedestrians have priority over vehicles of any kind on the entire site. All roads and paths on the site must always be kept clear for emergency vehicles, day and night.
3. Noise
Please be considerate of the other camping guests and avoid disturbing noise. In particular radios, televisions, music systems and musical instruments, etc. must be used in such a way that the neighbors are not disturbed. Ball games are generally only permitted in the designated area. The use of sound systems on the grounds is prohibited.
4. Silent Hours
From 12.00 noon to 1.00 pm (midday rest) and from 10.00 pm to 7.00 am (night rest) are our quiet times. During these times it is not permitted to drive on the campsite with vehicles of any kind. We do not accept new guests during the quiet periods. Disturbing noise is to be avoided. Radios, TV sets and the like may only be operated at low volume.
5. Safety/Sources of Danger
It is not permitted to dig trenches or fence off your pitch on the tourist pitches. Make sure that nobody is endangered by tent pegs, tent cords or other camping accessories. Mark any sources of danger that are difficult to recognise with clearly visible markings.
Campers are responsible for their own electricity connection from the point of use. Only intact cables may be used. Electricity consumption is charged at a flat rate for short-term campers.
The gas systems and camping heaters in the accommodation facilities must comply with the statutory regulations and the guidelines of DVGW-G607 and must be regularly maintained by the camper. Proof of this must be provided to the campsite operator on request. The camper is liable for any damage caused by the gas installations belonging to him.
6. Cleanliness
Cleanliness is certainly just as important to you as it is to us. We therefore ask you to leave the facilities in such a way that the guest after you can also use the facilities without any worries. Smoking is prohibited in the entire sanitary area. Glass bottles, glasses and other dangerous objects are prohibited in the sanitary facilities.
Children under the age of 7 may only use the sanitary facilities when accompanied by a supervisor.
Please do not wash dishes or laundry in the washrooms. Use the dishwashing or laundry room provided for this purpose. There is a washing machine in the washroom. You will need 4x € 1,- coins for this. The technical facilities are to be treated with care, in case of malfunctions please inform the administrative staff.
Showering is only permitted for our camping guests. A € 1,- coin is required to use the showers.
Waste water/toilet
Waste water/chemical toilet water from caravans and tents must not be discharged onto the ground or seep into the ground. The waste water produced must be collected in suitable, covered containers and only emptied into the sinks provided for this purpose in the toilet rooms or at the service station.
Drinking and service water supply
In order to ensure a regulated supply of drinking and service water, the connection of water hoses in the wash houses and at the water points is only permitted with authorization. Please ask at reception. It is forbidden to bring hot water in canisters.
7. Waste Disposal
Our waste concept is based on ecological principles. Waste must therefore be separated and disposed of in the containers or bins provided. If you are using rubbish bags, please only dispose of them knotted, as this does not lead to soiling and unpleasant odours. You will find our recycling centre at the entrance to the campsite. Please note our waste separation. Only household waste generated during your stay at the campsite may be disposed of.
The depositing and disposal of bulky waste, electrical waste, chemicals, wood waste, batteries, camping chairs, tables, umbrellas, pavilions, awnings or the like is prohibited!!!!
8. Barbecue/Campfire
Open fires, fire bowls and campfires are prohibited on the entire campsite.
Use a suitable barbecue (gas or charcoal) for barbecues and avoid heavy smoke and odours. Embers and fires must be supervised at all times. The use of fire accelerants of any kind is prohibited when barbecuing. If there is an increased risk of forest fires, the site manager may issue a ban on barbecues. Charcoal may not be disposed of on the site.
9. Damage
The person causing the damage is liable for any damage to the campsite facilities and equipment. We do not assume liability for theft or damage to guests’ property by third parties or for injuries or accidents. We therefore recommend that you take out private insurance.
10. Children
A playground is available for children. Parents must supervise their children responsibly at all times. If they fail to fulfil their duty of supervision, they are liable for any Damage caused by the children.
11. Pets
All pets must be registered and must be kept on a lead within the campsite. Pets must not cause any soiling on the campsite. Any dog faeces, even in front of the barrier, must be removed by the dog owner using a hygiene bag.
12. House Law/Liability
In exercising its domiciliary rights, the management may refuse to admit persons or expel them from the site if this appears necessary to maintain safety and order on the campsite. Strongly intoxicated guests and visitors may be expelled from the campsite. In the event of expulsion, camping fees already paid will not be refunded.
Camping on the site is at your own risk. Liability is excluded within the limits permitted by law. Swimming in the pool is also at your own risk, there is no lifeguard on site.
No liability is accepted for power failures, storm and weather damage, flooding and lightning or hail damage. We reserve the right to change opening hours in the low season of each year. The pitch tenant is liable for his relatives and visitors.
13. Departure
Departure must take place by 12.00 noon. Otherwise, an additional overnight charge will be levied. Please leave your pitch in a clean condition. The campsite Manager reserves the right to withhold a deposit of € 50,- from groups on the tent pitch as security for compliance with the campsite rules. Unfortunately, we will have to charge you for any subsequent cleaning.
Failure to comply with the campsite regulations will result in expulsion from the campsite without refund of the fee and deposit.
